About me
Hello, my name is tilli and I am the creative mind behind Lules Piek.
I rarely look as chic as I do in the picture; you usually find me with a factory apron, inked fingers and sanding dust on my face.
As is the case in every good about-me story, I loved drawing and making all sorts of things as a child. Unlike most, however, I missed the opportunity to stop.
During my later training as a designer, I was able to explore many creative areas and quickly fell in love with all of them.
Everything started with graphics, drawing, photography, screen printing, type design and painting, but I didn't know it at the time. I certainly had no idea that this small collection of fascinating activities would multiply many times over in the next few years.
I love creating things, learning, experimenting. Whatever I do, I do it with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, always striving to do my best.
How did Lules Piek come about?
When I had my ears pierced, after a long search for earrings and many bad purchases, I decided that I could make my own earrings.
From this small idea and irrepressible curiosity about new techniques and materials, the idea of making jewelry art arose. Not just any jewelry. Not the usual stuff you find in stores.
Wearable, small works of art that are actually made entirely by hand. Which not everyone has. A little unusual, highly customizable and simply beautiful. Something that stands out.
A few years, numerous experiences and countless work experiments later, Lules Piek was created.
Overall, I have been making jewelry and many other small works of art for over 15 years now and I couldn't imagine anything more beautiful.

What does “Lules Piek” actually mean?
The name doesn't have any real meaning, but it does have a little background story:
These two (originally separate) names were created during my training. I had a lot of fun designing my own characters and then naming them. Once a pair of sisters came into being, one was called Lules and the other I named Piek. Somehow I thought that both sounded good together and that's how "Lules Piek" was later created.
